Donald Trump has faced growing pressure from a loud minority both inside his administration and in his base to abandon Israel and the war on Iran. And it’s compounded by low polling numbers for the party in the upcoming midterm elections, economic pressure from the war, and real divide in his cabinet.

In recent days the Trump Administration has turned cold against Israel and Netanyahu.

Donald Trump has faced growing pressure from a loud minority both inside his administration and in his base to abandon Israel and the war on Iran. And it’s compounded by low polling numbers for the party in the upcoming midterm elections, economic pressure from the war, and real divide in his cabinet.

The Bible warned Israel against relying on the strength of another nation for help: “Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin: That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt! Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion. They were all ashamed of a people that could not profit them, nor be an help nor profit, but a shame, and also a reproach. For the Egyptians shall help in vain, and to no purpose: therefore have I cried concerning this, Their strength is to sit still.” (Isaiah 30:1-7)

Netanyahu has noticed the change in sentiment toward Israel in the United States, and has worked with the Senate to introduce legislation in the United States that would reduce the reliance of Israel. However, this depends on whether the United States is willing to give up their control over Israel — Israel’s reliance on the United States is why Trump has the upper hand.

The pressure of the loud minority from individuals like: Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Megyn Kelly, Nick Fuentes, Joe Kent, and Carrie Prejean Boller.

Joe Kent who resigned from the Trump Administration, wrote in his resignation letter: “Early in this administration, high-ranking Israeli officials and influential members of the American media deployed a misinformation campaign that wholly undermined your America First platform and sowed pro-war sentiments to encourage a war with Iran. This echo chamber was used to deceive you into believing that Iran posed an imminent threat to the United States, and that should you strike now, there was a clear path to a swift victory. This was a lie and is the same tactic the Israelis used to draw us into the disastrous Iraq war that cost our nation the lives of thousands of our best men and women. We cannot make this mistake again.”

“I think that a foreign country has occupied our government, and we are seeing now that this president of the United State of America is being influenced by a foreign government” (Carrie Prejean Boller to Tucker Carlson)

Many of these individuals represent a growing voice in the Catholic Church, pushing back to the traditional viewpoint that the Catholic Church has tried to de-emphasize since the tragic events of the Holocaust.  The Free Press wrote in March: “The ongoing debate about the reemergence of Catholic antisemitism and what is to be done about it intersects with a bigger, even more contentious debate about the future of the American right, which increasingly pits “heritage Americans”—like influencer Tucker Carlson and Vice President J.D. Vance—against more traditional Republicans like Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Senator Ted Cruz, and many of those here at the Judeo-Christian Zionist Congress.” In that same article the writer goes on to say: “It’s about old versus young—a generational shift… There are many younger Catholics—both converts and cradle—who are increasingly suspicious of the modern Church,” Anderson said in an email. “Many feel that the Catholicism they experienced growing up was watered down.”… Despite—or, maybe, because of—all that, a deep suspicion of Jews is spreading among young Catholics. They are searching for what they believe to be a more real, untainted Catholicism that rejects “every modern development of the Church, including her more recent teachings about Judaism and the Jewish people,” Anderson said.”

Massimo Faggioli a Catholic Historian said: “There’s something new happening now. I’m terrified by the risk that this is bringing back the monster of anti-Judaism on which the Catholic Church tried very hard to liberate itself from”

This is the resurgent wave of antisemitism that Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson, and Nick Fuentes are trying to ride. In an interview with Tucker Carlson, Carrie Boller speaking on Catholicism and Israel said: “For 2,000 years, [replacement theology] is what the early church fathers taught. [The church is] the new Israel, we are the spiritual semites. [The patriarchs] would literally be rolling in their graves if they thought that we were being told that 1948 Israel is some biblical prophecy fulfillment. I asked my priest [about this], and he said nobody has ever taught that.”

Catholic Antisemitism being on the rise, is exactly what we can expect from the scriptures. We read in Revelation 16: “And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.” (Revelation 16:12-16)

If you look at the context for these verses, they come right before the words: “Behold, I come as a thief”. So we know that these verses must be referring to the events which would happen in the lead up to the return of Christ.

These spirts have a very specific characteristic, they are like frogs. Revelation is a book of symbol and to understand those symbols we need understand how they are used elsewhere. So where do we read about frogs? Your mind will jump to the 10 plagues, where the land was overrun with frogs. We read in Psalm 105:3: “Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.”

Frogs can also be translated as “demons”, in the gospels we know that this is representation of mental illness.

So these frog like spirits represent something that is: (1) Like a mental illness, (2) So prevalent that it reaches the chambers of kings (3) The spirit promises liberty “I will let the people go” (4) And is associated with the stench of corruption “and the land stank”.

Looking through history we know that these spirits align with the ones that arose out of the French Revolution — Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity. And it’s these spirits that cause the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet to work together in opposition to Zion.

Reading from Joel 3, which is speaking about the same future event: “Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:” (Joel 3:9)

The word prepare can be translated as sanctified, this is a “holy war”.

Putting together Joel 3 and Revelation 16, the involvement of the false prophet - the spirit which brings all nations together against Zion has a distinctly religious component to it. And so it is no surprise to see this resurgent wave of Catholic Antisemitism.

The Bible Magazine in 2018 wrote: “As Jesus Christ works to develop a more Biblical form of Zionism in Israel, it will antagonize Rome and the world bringing the controversy of Zion.” And that's exactly the sentiment that we see forming today.
