The Strong Arm of Peace - Trump Forces the Abraham Accords
Trump insists 6 Gulf States join the Abraham Accords as part of the Iran Deal

Throughout this week, President Trump repeatedly called for 6 Arab States to join the Abraham Accords, stating it was mandatory. The US administration repeatedly insisted Iran will not get a nuclear weapon to destroy Israel with, which is in keeping with Bible Prophecy. The US is pushing to have the Gulf Nations join Israel in creating an unprecedented age of peace and prosperity in the region.  This is what the Bible indicates will ultimately be achieved:  Iran will survive to fight again, the Gulf States will form an alliance with the Merchant Powers of Tarshish, and peace will come to the region with the associated prosperity.

For a second time in the same week, President Trump has insisted that six Muslim-majority nations join the Abraham Accords and normalize agreements with Israel ahead of any deal between the US and Iran.

On Monday, May 25th, President Trump stated the following in a post on the Truth Social platform:

Negotiations with the Islamic Republic of Iran are proceeding nicely! It will only be a Great Deal for all or, no Deal at all — Back to the Battlefront and shooting, but bigger and stronger than ever before — And nobody wants that!
During my discussions on Saturday with [leaders from] President Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, of The United Arab Emirates, Emir Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, and Minister Ali al-Thawadi, of Qatar, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Ahmed Shah, of Pakistan, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, of Türkiye, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, of Egypt, King Abdullah II, of Jordan, and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, of Bahrain, I stated that, after all the work done by the United States to try and pull this very complex puzzle together,  it should be mandatory that all of these Countries, at a minimum, simultaneously, sign onto the Abraham Accords.

Those Countries discussed are Saudi Arabia, The United Arab Emirates (already a Member!), Qatar, Pakistan, Türkiye, Egypt, Jordan, and Bahrain (already a Member!). It may be possible that one or two have a reason for not doing so, and that will be accepted, but most should be ready, willing, and able to make this Settlement with Iran a far more Historic Event than it would, otherwise, be.

The Abraham Accords have proven to be, for the Countries involved (The United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, Sudan, and Kazakhstan), a Financial, Economic, and Social BOOM, even during this time of Conflict and War, with the current Members never even suggesting leaving, or taking so much as even a pause. The reason for this is that the Abraham Accords have been great for them, and will be even better for everybody, and bring true Power, Strength, and Peace to the Middle East for the first time in 5,000 years. It will be a Document respected like no other that has ever been signed, anywhere in the World. Its level of Importance and Prestige will be unparalleled!

It should start with the immediate signing by Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and everybody else should follow suit. If they don’t, they should not be part of this Deal in that it shows bad intention.
In speaking to numerous of the Great Leaders mentioned above, they would be honored, as soon as our Document is signed, to have the Islamic Republic of Iran as part of the Abraham Accords. Wow, now that would be something special! This will be the most important Deal that any of these Great, but always in Conflict Countries, will ever sign. Nothing in the past, or in the future, will surpass it. Therefore, I am mandatorily requesting that all Countries immediately sign the Abraham Accords, and that, if Iran signs its Agreement with me, as President of the United States of America, it would be an Honor to have them also be part of this unparalleled World Coalition. The Middle East would be United, Powerful, and Economically Strong, like perhaps no other area, anywhere in the World! By copy of this TRUTH, I am asking my Representatives to begin, and successfully complete, the process of signing these Countries into the already Historic Abraham Accords. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

DONALD J. TRUMP

PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

This statement put out on Truth Social is somewhat astounding. It has been considered far-fetched by many, and on a certain level, it is.

President Trump has made many far-fetched moves come to fruition in the region, such as the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, the move of the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and the commencement of the original Abraham Accords. These were all events that were considered impossible or, at best, improbable.

Many Arab states, and even some in Israel, have criticized this idea. The Israeli’s are concerned it is a glossy veneer over cracks in the Iran deal, designed to entice them into accepting a bad deal. It may be Iran will reject any form of deal, and America and Israel will resume bombing.

Iran to Survive until Christ’s Return

We do know that Iran must exist at some level as an armed nation, willing and able to join the Russian confederacy at the time of the end, for Ezekiel informs us of this fact:

And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:” (Ezekiel 38:4–5)

While Iran must be degraded enough to allow peace in the Middle east it will not be obliterated because the finger of God has appointed it to destruction in a different way. It forms part of the image Nebuchadnezzar saw in his nightmare recorded in  Daniel chapter 2:

Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. This image’s head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.” (Daniel 2:31–33)

Iran or (Persia) is the silver element of the image that Daniel informs us:

And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee.” (Daniel 2:39)

We know from history that the Medo-Persian empire followed the Babylonians. While the empire was defeated by the Greeks led by Alexander the Great, it’s ultimate destruction would take place by the stone power at the Lord’s return:

Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.” (Daniel 2:34–35)

The nations comprising the image are “broken in pieces together”. The word together (Strong’s #2298) is the Chaldean word chad, corresponding to the Hebrew word echad, and meaning “one” or “as a unit”.

The stone is the nation of Israel under the rule of the Lord Jesus Christ and the saints in the future age, as it is defined as the “kingdom”:

And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.” (Daniel 2:44–45)

So, whether by treaty or by air strikes, Iran will be caged for a period of time to allow the peace and prosperity the Bible calls for to exist.

Significance of the current events.

The significance of the events taking place on the world scene right now cannot be minimized, even though the world media would like to do so.

Senator Lindsey Graham supported Trump’s suggestion. According to the publication, The Hill:

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Monday voiced support for President Trump’s proposal that Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other Gulf states join the Abraham Accords as part of the U.S. and Iran’s negotiations to end conflict in the region.

Graham called the expansion “simply brilliant” adding that it would result “in the most significant change in the Middle East in thousands of years.”

“With Saudi Arabia and others like Pakistan making peace with Israel, the region will know a level of stability never dreamed of before President Trump and will eventually lead to regional integration making the Middle East a powerhouse for economic opportunity and good instead of a powder keg,” the South Carolina Republican wrote on social platform X.

“I expect our Arab allies to embrace this, as well as our friends in Israel, focusing on this task as failure is not an option — which would be a correct analysis,” he added.

We cannot be underwhelmed when leading politicians are stating that the suggestions being put forward are “the most significant change in the Middle East in thousands of years”. Even if we don’t understand all the ins and outs of prophecy, this should spark our interest.

Normalization

While the expansion of the Abraham Accords might be down the road, other “normalizations” of relationships between the Arab states and Israel are taking place.

Yahoo News reported on an interview with David Schenker, senior fellow with the Washington Institute for Near East Policy and a former assistant secretary of State for Near Eastern affairs during Trump’s first term. The article stated:

Schenker noted that while expanding the Abraham Accords may be far-fetched in the near future, many of these countries have had “touch points” with Israel over the course of the three-month war with Iran through collective defense efforts against Iranian attacks in the region.

“There are liaison officers from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait at Centcom in Tampa, because all these countries are involved and are coordinating and sharing air pictures. There is certainly a level of tactical cooperation between all these countries and Israel,” he said, using an abbreviated name for U.S. Central Command.

“That is the new normal, but it is not normalization.”

Even if Trumps dream of bringing these nations into the Abraham Accords is “down the road” they are already cooperating on a level not seen in the region, bringing us to this inevitability. However, nobody expected Jerusalem to be recognized as Israel’s capital, or the American Embassy to be moved, and that happened in a record short amount of time.

Trumps USA Cabinet Meeting

Trump’s Truth Social post was not a momentary apparition that made its way into a midnight post simply because Trump was frustrated and could not sleep. It has become a constant theme throughout the week.

President Trump held the 12th Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, May 27th, which was open to the Media. During this, he discussed a variety of topics critical to the United States. Multiple times, the topic of Iran came up during this televised cabinet meeting. Trump addressed the issue several times, called experts and those dealing with it to speak on it, and was questioned by reporters.

This was his initial statement on Iran

Iran is very much, intent. They want very much to make a deal. So far, they haven't gotten in. We're not satisfied with it, but no. We will be. We will be. Either that or we'll have to just finish the job. But, the navy is gone, as I've said a thousand times. The navy is gone. The air force is gone. Everything's gone, and they're negotiating on fumes. But we'll see what happens. Maybe we have to go back and finish it. Maybe we don't.
Right now, I mean, you can speak to Steve Witkoff and Jared. They're doing a good job. But right now, I think, it looks like they wanna just make a deal. They wanna… they have… I don't think they have a choice. They're just going back to the Internet because they're getting proper. Their economy is in free fall. They have 250% inflation. Their money has no value. Their whole, economic system is broken down.

They thought they were gonna outwait me, you know? We'll outwait him. He's got the midterms. I don't care about the midterms. Look what happened last night. That was the prelude to the midterms.

People understand that they know that very simple. Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. I'm doing that for the world. I'm not doing it just for us. And we've had great support from other nations, by the way. We don't need it at all, but we've had great support from other nations. The problem is you always get the support when you don't need it. When you need it, you don't get the support.

With Operation Epic Fury, our warriors are ensuring that the world's number one state sponsor of terror never obtains a nuclear weapon, and they won't.

The president asked Secretary of State Marco Rubio to discuss progress on the diplomatic front:

Well, first of all, the bottom line is Iran's never gonna have a nuclear weapon. And if recent events have done anything, it just remind us once again that they are the world's leading sponsor of terrorism, and they can never have a nuclear weapon.
Now, the president's preference, Mr. President, your preference has told us repeatedly, is always to negotiate these things and to figure out if you can have agreements. Diplomacy is always the first option, and we continue to work on that through your envoys, mister Witkoff and Mr. Kushner and others, the vice president, who've been very involved. And if we want there's an agreement to be made. We want that to be made. I think there's been some progress and some interest, and we'll see over the next few hours and days whether progress could be made.
I just wanna remind everybody, Mr. President, you know this well. You have other options available to you if that doesn't work.
But the bottom line is that, we prefer the negotiated, diplomatic route, and we're gonna give it every chance to succeed. I know you're giving it every chance to succeed, Mr. President.
But here's the bottom line, because I keep getting asked, what is this all about? It's very simple. Iran and these people in charge of Iran can never have a nuclear weapon, and they will never have a nuclear weapon. And they most certainly will not have one as long as you're president of The United States. On that point, it's very clear.

He then asked Pete Hegseth, Secretary of War, to address the military “option” Secretary of State Rubio referred to:

We didn't do the same old thing the way we've done it the past after, you know, Iraq and Afghanistan, the way we waged wars. Instead, you said we're gonna do this smart. We're gonna do it overwhelming. We're gonna use maximum lethality, and we're gonna bring them to their knees. And so whether it's their navy that's at the bottom of the Persian Gulf, their air force, their air defenses, or their defense industrial base, they may have missiles, but they can't build more right now. And they can't build more drones right now, and they can't build more ships.

And so they came and cried uncle to talk, which Steve and Jared and the Vice President and others are doing so ably.

And in the during that time, we put in a world class blockade, and they haven't been able to bring anything in or anything out from Iranian ports. And we know from the intel, that they are their economy is hurting big time because that is their lifeblood. And, again, bringing them to the table. So whether it is through the efforts of your negotiators that they ensure that we they never have a nuclear weapon or we have to go back to the War Department to finish the job that way. We're prepared to do that. And I think even our reach on the dark fleet of Iranian tankers, no Iranian tanker around the globe is safe, and we've seen seizures all around the globe, again, choking off their economic lifeblood.

During the question period, a reporter asked him about the Straits of Hormuz being under the control of Iran and Oman:

Reporter: On the Strait of Hormuz, Mr. President, Iran wants control of the Strait of Hormuz. Would you accept a short-term deal that allows Iran and Oman to control the Strait? And would they have to open it immediately, or would you be open to that happening over a period of time? Trump: No. The Strait's gonna be open to everybody. Reporter: And who would control it? Trump: It's, international waters. Nobody's gonna control it. We're gonna watch over it. We'll watch over it, but nobody's gonna control it. That's part of the negotiation that we have. They would like to control it. Nobody's gonna control it. It's international waters, and, Oman will behave just like everybody else, and we'll have to blow them up. They understand that. They'll be fine.

Trump’s answer to this was reported out of context, without the preceding question, and the News media tried to paint Trump as a crazy man who was turning on Oman, deranged for threatening an American ally. That is the news media, constantly trying to twist the facts to paint a picture. However, the angels are at work and pay no heed to the media, which is highly influenced by a Catholic anti-Israel agenda.

Reporters also questioned him on the rise of gasoline prices in the US, and the pressure this put on him to move quickly on an Iran deal:

I knew there'd be an increase. I said, we have a choice. We don't have to do anything in two years or one year or two months because Iran would have had a…  if we didn't hit them with the B2 bombers, Iran would have had a nuclear weapon within two weeks from that date because they were ready to go.
And if they had a new weapon a nuclear weapon, it would have been used already.
It also would have been used had I not terminated the Obama deal, the Iran nuclear deal as we call it. That was in my first term. Had I not terminated that, they would have had a nuclear weapon a long time ago. I would say it was a guarantee that it would have been used, and it would have blown up Israel. It would have blown up the entire Middle East, and that's never gonna happen.

This statement is Biblically significant. Whether he knows it or not, his assurance is actually rooted in Bible Prophecy. God has made it very clear that Israel will never be destroyed as a nation.

For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.” (Jeremiah 30:11)

The empires that invaded ancient Israel have ended. The Babylonian Empire, the Medo-Persian Empire, the Greek Empire, and the Roman Empire have all come to an end. Israel was scattered, according to the prophetic word, but has been regathered. God’s assurance is clear. Even though the nations might want Israel to be destroyed, it is not going to happen:

Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them. Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth; Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.” (Jeremiah 33:24–26)

America is being used by God, under Trump’s leadership, to ensure his will is being done.

Multiple times during the meeting, President Trump stressed that America was independent when it came to oil and energy, and was an exporter, not an importer of oil and natural gas. In the situation in the Middle East, America was helping the nations of the Middle East, and the nations of the world. When asked about an Iran deal, he stated the following:

One of the things that will happen is the Strait will open immediately. Immediately. But it's gotta be perfect. I'm not gonna do this….  I didn't do this to get a crummy agreement.

The worst agreement ever signed was by Barack Hussein Obama. What a horrible agreement that was. It was a setback for this country, for the whole world. The Middle East would have blown itself up. No.

And we'd like to have the countries we were talking about with Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, and the others. We'd like to have them immediately join the…  and Steve Witkoff is working on that with Jared and some others, but we'd like to have them join the Abraham Accords. It'll be historic if they do it. And we would I think they…. I think they owe that to us, to be honest. I think because that really would be a tremendous sign. And I think those countries owe it to us... Steve, are you gonna get them to sign?

We're definitely pushing it, Mr. President.

I'm not sure, I'm not sure we should make the deal, if they don't sign. You wanna know the truth? If they don't sign to join the Abraham Accords, I don't know that we, you know, we have countries in there already. UAE,   great countries, bold countries. And it's turned out to be so good, so effective. And, so we're, you know, requesting strongly that they join. It'll be great. It'll be great for Saudi Arabia. It'd be great for Qatar, Kuwait, the whole group.

Another seismic shift in the Middle East comes as the UAE announced on April 30 that it was leaving OPEC. According to NPR:

The United Arab Emirates announced this morning that they are leaving OPEC. That's the global oil cartel that governs production of the vital commodity. The UAE says the decision was based on meeting the market's needs.

The UAE had joined OPEC in 1967, almost 60 years ago, along with a number of Arab countries who wanted to use Oil to leverage their influence in the world. NPR’s foreign correspondent from Dubai, Aya Batrawy, stated in a radio broadcast:

This is further disintegration of the ideals of unity and Pan-Arabism that led to the creation of the Arab League in Cairo 70 years ago. So it is possible the UAE could withdraw from regional or Pan-Islamic organizations as it continues to strike out on its own.

Aya quoted Rareq Alotaiba, a former Emirati government official as stating:

Iran's attacks not only tested the Gulf's air defenses, but he says it exposed the hollowness of Arab solidarity. And he said it was primarily actually the U.S. and Israel, which provided military aid and intelligence sharing during the war. And this is what I have heard in meetings here, too, with officials, that the UAE, unlike Arab states, doesn't see Israel as the main threat but Iran.

This type of shift in foreign outlook is in line with the alliance that the scripture paints as forming in the latter days. Ezekiel is clear that there will be a Southern Confederacy that counters the Northern invading confederacy:

Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?” (Ezekiel 38:13)

Sheba and Dedan are mentioned in the table of nations in Genesis chapter 10, and also are listed as the descendants Jochkshan, one of Abraham’s other sons by Keturah (Genesis 25:1-3). These are Semitic peoples, directly descended from Abraham, who settled throughout the Gulf region. Sheba became the spice-mining nation whose queen would visit King Solomon (1 Kings 10). The trade in spices by Sheba is mentioned in Ezekiel 27:

The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, they were thy merchants: they occupied in thy fairs with chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold. Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad, were thy merchants. These were thy merchants in all sorts of things, in blue clothes, and broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among thy merchandise.” (Ezekiel 27:22–24)

The spice dams of the ancient nation of Sheba are still visible in southern Arabia and the nation of Yemen. This nation also must change its stand on Israel during this time of the end as well.

Dedan is also listed as a merchant of Tyre, trading in precious clothes and chariots:

Dedan was thy merchant in precious clothes for chariots. Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they thy merchants.” (Ezekiel 27:20–21)

Isaiah 21 lists the children of Israel as lodging with the “travelling companies of Dedanim in the forests of Arabia” as some flee the future invasion by Russia in the land:

The burden upon Arabia. In the forest in Arabia shall ye lodge, O ye travelling companies of Dedanim. The inhabitants of the land of Tema brought water to him that was thirsty, they prevented with their bread him that fled. For they fled from the swords, from the drawn sword, and from the bent bow, and from the grievousness of war.” (Isaiah 21:13–15)

President Trump’s demand this week for the Gulf states to join the Abraham Accords, while laughable to the news media, is in keeping with the destiny described for these nations in Scripture. Iran is destined to fail in its plan to destroy Israel, and the Gulf States are destined to join the Tarshish alliance in protesting the Gogian invasion of the land, and also providing assistance to the Jews.

Another such nation is the ancient nation of Midian. It was at one time an enemy of Israel that invaded the land and was fought by “the sword of the LORD and of Gideon” in Judges 7. We find them afflicted in the future:

I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction: and the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.” (Habakkuk 3:7)

The result of this trembling is their turning to God, and assisting in the rebuilding of Israel. Like the time of Solomon, they will bring their gold and spices to greater than Solomon – the Messiah:

Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee. The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the LORD. All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory. Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows? Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee. And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.” (Isaiah 60:5–10)

This glorious time is soon to be upon us, and we see the hints of the Bible in the News as Trump calls on these nations to join the Abraham Accords. Whether his present efforts bring forth fruit or not, remains to be seen, but they are in keeping with the ultimate plan of God for the region, and we know that his word will not return to him void.

For the Bible in the News this has been Jonathan Bowen joining you.
