The Battle to Crush the Rise of Jerusalem will not Succeed
From the time of Genesis until now there has always been a war between God and those that are associated with Him and his word, and those that oppose.

It was the case in the time of Christ as he says in John 7:7 - “The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.”  This is story over history and is certainly the story in our world and news today.  And no where is this battle so sharp as in God’s own land, and in God’s holy city Jerusalem.

In a world that is so opposed to God and his word, the Jew’s return to their ancient land and Jerusalem’s rise once again, in fulfillment of the Biblical promises, is like a red rag to a bull.  The battle against this modern day miracle is on all fronts.  The Arabs have tried to stop this by destroying dig sites and evidence, and others try to simply discredit it. others including the Romand Church would try to claim that Israel is oppressing the Palestinians and that they have no place in these areas, and they along with others try to simply discredit the evidence.  This is the form of attack that came this week in a New Yorker article.  It tries to unsurprisingly discredit the archeological evidence relating to the City of David, and the Biblical record which tells of the history.  If David even existed it is argued that the Biblical record is only “kernels of truth” and concludes that “to view David as a marginal Bedouin sheikh would be a mistake,” but so would “holding our breath for signs of his lavish kingdom.”

We can only expect these attacks to become more common and severe.  They are getting desperate.  Israel continues to dig up its Jewish roots of the Kingdom of the House of David and more evidence continues to pour in from Jerusalem and many other dig sites around the country.  The following is the audio of a new video recently uploaded by the City of David.

It makes me want to go!

The problem is that with the incredible amount of evidence that continues to back up the Biblical record, mixed with Israel looking to annex many of its ‘west bank’ settlements, this battle is just only going to heat up more and more.

And for Israel, with many nations and religions denying their connection to Jerusalem, or unwilling to stand with them, they are doing all they can to bring the evidence to the world and to reconnect the Jewish people to their roots.

To this end a new visitor center to the south of Jerusalem has been announced with the foundations already laid.  It is to be the embarkation point for those visiting ancient Biblical Jerusalem. It is also planned to be surrounded with eight hotels.  They are planning for visitors.

It looks amazing, but it will not work.

The nations of this world have been made drunk with the wine of the Roman harlot system, with her teachings, which have been for centuries against the Bible and the Jewish people.  The end result is that they will come against Israel as Joel 3:1,2 says:

“For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,

I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.”

But for those that are willing to hear and see the evidence that continues to come forth, and the events that keep moving along the path long expected, the rise of Jerusalem could not come soon enough.

Isa 52:1,2 says “Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.”

But as amazing as the archeological evidence is it is actually Bible prophecy that God uses to prove his existence.  Isa 43:9-13

“Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.

Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no savior.

I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God.

Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?”

It is God that is bringing all these things to pass and there is no one that can stop it now.  The return of Christ Jesus will soon be here and this world is in for a change!
